The thing I loved most from Grandpa must have been the advice he gave. He did this in numerous different ways. Whether it was after a hockey game or as we were playing cribbage, he was never short on advice. I remember at my games I would see him at the glass giving me winks and smiles, and I would just smile back. It would make me feel so good. The best advice had to be at the end of the game, he would give me small pointers like "keep your head up" or "keep battling". It meant so much to me to see him by the glass at my games and I will cherish these memories forever!
