Clint Group

I have so many good and fond memories of Clint.  Sean and I travelled to Winnipeg from Kamloops every two years after we got married in 1979. Our kids were able to grow up together. Sean and I travelled to Dallas Texas and met up with Clint and Louise and travelled to Corpus Christy and several other spots in Texas.  We also cruised to Hawaii in 2008 with Clint and Louise and 8 to 10 other family and friends unforgettable trip. One trip back to Winnipeg Sean and I Stayed in Regina overnight and on leaving the next morning we were driving fairly fast which was usual for Sean and ended up getting a speeding ticket in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. The RCMP officer said we were the second car from BC that he had ticketed that morning.  Sean asked if the other driver was Mel Ost from Campbell River and he said yes.  When we arrived in Winnipeg later that day we went to Clint’s home and mentioned the speeding ticket and Clint asked to see the ticket and called Mel at Sean’s grandmothers place and a said he was the constable and that Mel would have to return to Saskatchewan, Mel asked how he had gotten his number as he was calling on the house phone and then he started to laugh.  This is only one of so many memories. We were so grateful for Clint and Louise when they came to Kamloops to be with us when Sean was in his final days before dying from cancer.  We send all our love to Louise, Laney, Graeme, Lindsey and the rest of the family.
